I made flower pencils in a recycled SLIM FAST can/pot.
Here is what I did~ I used a recycled slim fast can. I removed the lid and tossed it. Pulled off the paper Slim Fast wrapper and tossed it as well. Emptied any remaining powder, then wiped the can out with a very lightly damp paper towel. I have had the pack of pencils FOREVER.
I traced the right length of paper I would need, by using the can as my guide. Then I cut to size. glued on with glue dots and a glue stick.
then you will make your flowers. I used the Accent Essentials cartridge for my Cricut for the flowers, and for the circles I used Platinum Schoolbook cartridge. I attached the pencils to the back with glue dots. Tied a bow around the center of the can and cut out a "H" initial for his Teachers Last name. The "H" was again from the Platinum Schoolbook cartridge.
I stuffed the can with left over shredded paper from Easter.
Then I made a simple tag/card... and I stuck the hand made greeting tag/card inside the can.
VIOLA~ THANKS FOR STOPPING BY! winks- jen

This turned out very cute. I don't have very many cartridges yet for my machine, but I look forward to getting some of these. I'm sure his teacher will love it
