DOLLAR store craft~ Numbered decor BOXES

DOLLAR STORE CRAFT~ "Numbered Decor Boxes!" FORGET ABOUT spending a fortune on decor items. YOU CAN MAKE THEM YOURSELF!

I started with this~ The two small boxes came inside one another for a $1 dollar then the other two were each a $1 dollar. $3.00 DOLLAR craft HELLLLO! I had the other supplies at home.

Boxes PAINTED. I used these acrylic paint colors:
~Licorice
~Barn Red
~Vintage white

My inspiration came from these larger boxes I have had for a few years. They sit on a ledge in my entry way.

Then you will stencil on Numbers (optional) I cut my letters out using card stock from my cricut. I used the platinum schoolbook cartridge. The font is just the letters and numbers on the key pad. I used different sizes obviously for the different sized boxes.

then you will hot glue twine/jute around the top with the lid on. This is optional.

FINAL PRODUCT! CAN I toot my own horn here?...... and say I like the boxes I made way better then the ones I bought. Luckily the ones I bought were only $9.99 with tax!

UP CLOSE WITH A DRAWER KNOB that I hot glued on.

IT WOULD BE WAY CUTE WITH "HOME" stenciled down them, small letters to big. I am going to make two HOME one's and a few others I thought of for CHRISTMAS gifts!
