M.I.C.K.E.Y. M.O.U.S.E bouquet display

HI GUYS- I have been busy working up a craft storm- I have lots to show you, most recently I have been working on my sons MICKEY THEMED Birthday Party! Tonight we celebrate with family. My youngest will be turning “2”!

For my birthday in Sept. my MIL sent me the Disney Mickey and Friends cricut cartridge. LET ME TELL YOU what an investment a cricut is! HUGE!!! if you use it as much as me you totally get your money’s worth and then some.  I have made all my sons decorations minus balloons and streamers from my cricut. Yes’ you have to think of how to display glue and create things. But its just a few button clicks away. I LOVE MY DISNEY CARTRIDGE. NO’ I ADORE MY CRICUT!

SO I THOUGHT OF THIS GRAND idea from a photo paper roll I got from a friend/photographer. She gave me four of them and I new I would use them eventually in crafting DUH! 😉

HERE IS THE PLAIN Photo Paper roll. VERY THICK AND STURDY!

I covered it in red card stock scrap paper and traced the top too in a circle and glued and taped it down.

HERE IS THE fun stuff I made and everything I used to create the BOUQUET Display! I stuffed broken styrofoam down the tube, and then stuffed shredded paper in the top with curly ques wrapping ribbon.

CUTE MICKEY face! Everything was cut and glued with a glue stick together. Then I used Kabob skewers to adhere everything. I taped the paper designs to the kabob sticks.

It came out cuter then I envisioned and I am so pleased with it. It will be the centerpiece display on the kitchen table.

NEXT UP MY MICKEY MOUSE cupcake tower display and cupcake toppers!

M.I.C-“c” you real soon… K.E.Y.- “y” because I like you (all) …. M.O.U.S.E!

thanks GUYS FOR STOPPING BY!

I am linking up with Jen at Tatertots and Jello for her weekend wrap up party HERE.

  1. Ummmm…..I LOVE MICKEY! I’m in love with this. I have a special love for all things mickey “head” and “hands”. Those gloves are adorable. And the vase is out of this world. I kinda want this in my bedroom! Great job!

  2. Oooooh! I am just in the early stages of planning my lil one’s first birthday party, also themed as Mickey Mouse! I picked up the Cricut cartridge too and was just getting the wheels turning on some ideas! Thanks for sharing! 🙂

  3. YOU are BEYOND fabulous…

This is not meant to offend at all since I know you are Mormon..

(the real mormons not the ones that take second wives..)

but if I could have a sister wife.. it would TOTALLY BE YOU!
