Kids Lunch- Jack O' Lantern Quesadilla's

VERY SIMPLE LUNCH- just cut out the design and pieces with a knife, slice your cheese. Lay one piece down on a sprayed pan, layer with cheese and place the cut out piece on top. Flip them and when toasty looking on both sides- all done. Serve with SOME PUMPKIN BLOOD aka taco sauce. Happy children you will find.

Of course, I did cut them into fours after I got this pic. just make sure YOU SCREAM AHHHH' the pumpkins getting cut.... for extra kid laughter. ;)

So... tell me...

My sister whom I adore, and I were talking this morning on the phone about Halloween Trick or Treating... then it led to the worst CANDY WE ever got in our trick or treat bags. So I thought it would be fun to play a game. I would LOVE to hear from all of you, what was the WORST candy or THING eek.. that you got in your trick or treat bag when you were little? this will be so fun.

both MY SIS AND I agreed that we hated the chewy Peanut butter taffy's EWWW. My sis got left over foil wrapped christmas candy from an old lady one year when she was little. The worst thing I ever got was a bruised apple.

SO PLEASE LETS ALL SHARE-

AHHHHH' whats in your bag? (Really can anything be more scary then this pic. of my sis and I, who needs a scary mask... ha ha!)

SWEET & SMALL- trick or treat bags

TODAY WAS SUPER SPECIAL- the kids and I got love from both GRANDMAS. My mom spent the day with me and two of the three kids (oldest in school) and the mail man delivered a package from Grandma "Innie" Larsen.

PACKAGES ARE THE BEST! AREN'T THEY? I hate bills, and junk mail is so boring! cards and packages are an awesome treat to brighten your week. My MIL sends the BEST packages, they are always a super duper special delight. SHE IS UBBER TALENTED AND is the best seamstress I know. She truly needs a craft blog. SHE SENT some fun darling stuff (can't wait to show you the Christmas goodie she sent me "SQUEAL" you all will freak over it, I did!) and some fun holiday rice krispie molds, and these adorable small trick or treat bags. She sewed and made them. These are not made by me. Take a look at My MIL Annette's darling bags she made for my family.
I don't sew so all I can tell you is they measure approx. 5 inches left to right and approx. 6 inches top to bottom, not counting the underneaths. OF COURSE THE BURLAP ONES are my fav. ANYTHING WITH BURLAP!

AND LETS not forget what they REALLY ARE- small TRICK OR TREAT BAGS- yum YUM yUmO!
the kids delved into theirs and then I hung them on my large long shelf over the fam. room window. Thank you INNIE we love you so so so much. We love all the love you put into your hand sewn crafts. XOXO

I sure have had lots of fun with my Discovery in June with doing Vinyl Toes! The options are endless, and I get loads of compliments. ;)

Orange Pumpkin lunch for two little Pumpkins

Sometimes the most simplest things make the biggest impression. For example take an extra minute or two and make your kids lunches special. Its extra fun around the holiday.

Peanut butter and honey sandwich cut out with a pumpkin cookie cutter. Orange troll fingers aka cheetos's and candy corn pumpkins with died orange milk.
I promise if you do that you will get THIS in return! THEY WERE TICKLED ORANGE! THEN put on a classic children friendly Halloween program. Like Charlie Browns Great Pumpkin Patch.

BOOttun Frame

Hello There today I am thrilled to show you how I made my latest craft my-
{{BOOttun Frame!}}

These two pictures are the final product!
HERE IS THE HOW TO: First cut your burlap out and add some mode podge to the frame backing. Next lay the burlap over the mode podge smoothing it out. Then map out your buttons on the burlap before you start hot gluing. You want to make sure you have the right size as well as the room. Just be careful when gluing and also not to bump the other buttons that aren't glued.
Then I cut pieces of scrap paper to size for the border. I made sure it fit the frame as well as around the button saying.
Then with a glue stick I glued each strip down.
next I used my Distress Ink and Distressed the orange scrap paper.
For another layer I did the same with black scrapbook paper. Cut to size and glued down over the orange paper.
So that it will look like this.
LASTLY put your frame with glass (optional) back together. My frame was an oak finish and I did a white acrylic paint {glaze} on it, where you stroke the glaze on and wipe off with a rag.
Thanks Guys for stopping by!
I am linking up with Fireflies and Jellybeans for Show off your Stuff Party HERE.
