DIY- Monogrammed Wedding Gift!

Sat. a cousin of mine on my dads side is getting "HITCHED" P.S. love that movie! and I had to make something special. I love a thoughtful handmade personal gift.

SO I made a Monogrammed Frame!
Supplies- Tissue paper, paper, or fabric. (your choice)  I LOVED the Mr. and Mrs. tissue paper I found at Walmart. Frame, vinyl, transfer paper, glue. First I cut tissue paper to size, and then ironed the tissue paper. YES' you can iron tissue paper WHO NEW? Just keep the setting very low and gently go over the tissue paper to iron out the lines. I then placed the tissue paper in the frame and closed the back shut. I cut out Vinyl from my Cricut. I used the Platinum Schoolbook cartridge for the letter and the brackets.
I then used pictures from their wedding invitation. I love doing this, I have done it before for other wedding gift ideas. Its a great way to personalize it even more. I cut the pics. down to size to fit inside the letter "H". I then used my round corner punch to round the edges the matched the round edges of the vinyl letter.
I used a clear Elmer's glue. I smeared it all over the back with finger, and placed on the glass. If I did this under neath on the tissue paper... I think I would of gone insane trying to get them exactly in the right spots inside the letter H. Plus who wants to go through torn re-ironed tissue paper when its not fitting just right? NOT ME! winks!
lastly, I tied a really pretty satin bow around the frame. I still need to make or buy a card. Crafted with heart and love.
Thanks so much for stopping by! HAPPY CRAFTING, CREATING, DESIGNING!
