{{Lucky Shamrock Wreath}}

So I mentioned I don't decorate for St. Patty's...... BUT...... I figured MY front door could use a St. Patrick's Day wreath. So for those that haven't seen my wreath over at The CSI Project yesterday or the one pic. I had up early yesterday as well....... here is the full tutorial and all.

"LUCKY SHAMROCK WREATH!"

if you look at my step by step collage- you can see by the pictures how I did each step.
I didn't go for a solid green look, and added in some fun brown.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED:
-Styrofoam round wreath
- Distress Ink- to distress the shamrocks when the paper is cut and mod podged on.
- Card Stock Paper in your choice (3,4 sheets)- traced and cut to match the shamrocks and horse shoes.
- 4 small un-finished shamrocks 2 large un-finished shamrocks, 2 small un-finished horse shoes. That you will paint or mod podge paper on like I did, and then distressed with distress ink.
- a roll of tulle, that you will wrap around the wreath to start.
- 2 yards of 2 inch thick ribbon (optional) that will also be wrapped around one side of the wreath.
TO HELP MAKE AND ASSEMBLE:
-Angle sanding block
- Burlap (optional)
-Scissors
-Hot Glue Gun
-Q-Tips
-Mod Podge
-Sponge Brush

I seriously can't imagine you NOT decorating for a holiday!! The wreath is great and I'm glad you decided to go with a little St. Pat's deco.

I like how you didn't go all green and added horseshoes too!
Very nice welcoming to your home!

I love this because it isn't tacky like most St. Pat's items. I think this project is past my skill level...but you did a great job.
