DIY- Halloween {EEK Blocks}

 Here are my DIY-crafted {EEK} blocks. Last week I was lucky enough to be Guest Featured over at Tatertots and jello. For those of you who may not of seen my EEK blocks, I am showing them now.
In the picture collage you can see a basic step by step tutorial. For the grey colored fronts I mixed a charcoal acrylic paint with some white acrylic paint. I sanded them pretty good. All the wood I bought for these I got at Roberts Crafts.

The ceramic skeleton I got at Tai Pan Trading in S. UT.  3 years ago. I was hoping they would bring them back because they had an even bigger one that I wanted to get. However, I was there they other day.. and even though they had TONS of cute stuff.. I didn't see the ceramic skeleton's. Oh' well.
 I took two skeleton hands, that I bought in a pack at Michael's a few years ago. I used strong glue dots and stuck them to a plate I had. To get them off just a good pull will do.
The small paper pennant I used with Canvas Corp. paper cut into small triangle like pennants. The rope is also from Canvas Corp. as well as the chalk tags I have in the votive's.

THANKS FOR STOPPING BY.

I bought a similar skeleton to the one you have last fall. Mine is made out of stoneware and is a little larger than the one you have. I found it at Marshall's - may be worth a look if you have that store in your area...good luck!
