Teacher Appreciation Craft~ "Thanks for helping me grow!"

Teacher Appreciation WEEK is coming right up. I made this last year, but wanted to share it with you all to help give you an idea. I have plans for something new this year, and hope to share it later next week.

I made flower pencils in a recycled SLIM FAST can/pot. 

Here is what I did~ I used a recycled slim fast can. I removed the lid and tossed it. Pulled off the paper Slim Fast wrapper and tossed it as well. Emptied any remaining powder, then wiped the can out with a very lightly damp paper towel. I have had the pack of pencils FOREVER.

I traced the right length of paper I would need, by using the can as my guide. Then I cut to size. glued on with glue dots and a glue stick.

then you will make your flowers. I used the Accent Essentials cartridge for my Cricut for the flowers, and for the circles I used Platinum Schoolbook cartridge. I attached the pencils to the back with glue dots. Tied a bow around the center of the can and cut out a "H" initial for his Teachers Last name. The "H" was again from the Platinum Schoolbook cartridge.

I stuffed the can with left over shredded paper from Easter.

Then I made a simple tag/card...

and I stuck the hand made greeting tag/card inside the can.

As they say YOUR FAMILY FIRST AND BLOG SECOND! ;) my family is 100% FIRST. So I do apologize for being MIA. I am not even getting around to emails or anything at the moment, I am recovering from a c-section and it takes sometime. However, I am not going anywhere so no worries. I also wanted to take a moment and share with you all my new baby boy. So at the present time ... one sweet little guy has me wrapped around his itty bitty finger.  My heart is super full and I have so much love for my Lord and Savior, I have been blessed yet again with another beautiful healthy child.

{{Brown Bag Bunny Treat Bags}}

I wanted to take a treat to all the extended family that will be at the Park for Easter Sunday dinner and the fun Egg hunt. So I put together "Brown Bag Bunny Treat Bags" and wanted to share them with you all in case you decide to make some yourselves or something similar. 

HOW TO: I took brown paper bags cut off 3 inches off the top then rounded the corners with scissors. I used my Doodle Charms Cricut Cartridge and cut out the bunny's in "shadow" at 2 1/3 inch. Filled the bags with grass and treats, folded over the flaps used a tape runner to adhere the flap and the bunny's down. I made small bows for Mr. Rabbit and used mini glue dots to adhere the bows.

 Hershey Eggs, Malt Balls Eggs, Tootsie Rolls, Sweet tart Jelly Beans... TOOTHACHE! ;)

{Cupcake Liner Basket plate favors}

Need a cute simple and sweet "Plate Favor" idea for your EASTER table scape????

ALL YOU NEED IS:

pipe cleaners

whole punch

cupcake liners (2-3 stacked)

paper Easter grass

and a treat! I used smoothie life-savor

flavored jellybeans very yummy.

Whole punch the sides of the cupcake liner, weave your pipe-cleaners through to size. Cut off excess, twist into a circle on the sides, fill with paper grass and jellybeans.

*DIAPER BAG CHECK LIST*

Hello there so I have been PUTTING OFF THE DIAPER BAG packing for days, but with more braxton and hicks contractions and exactly 1 week today until the BIG BIRTHDAY.... I sat my round pumpkin belly butt self down on the floor and started to sort and go through a mental checklist for baby Evin's diaper bag, and got "PACKING!" p.s. I also have c-sections so i am in the hosp. 3-4 days.

I THOUGHT FOR NEWBIE PREGO MOMS I WOULD SHARE MY LIST FOR THE DIAPER BAG CHECKLIST! doesn't mean I am a pro, but this is # 4 so I think I have it in the bag... no pun! winks!

the hosp. provides bottles, a pacy, and a syringe bulb so I didn't pack those!

 three newborn onesies one itty bitty hat and itty bitty socks!

newborn diapers, diaper pouch with wet wipes, butt paste, changing pad, and baby SWEET SMELLING powder. Sighhhhh....

 a pouch that comes with the diaper bag that you can use to hold the binkie but I have the scented disposable poopy bags in it instead. ;)

DO YOU LOVE THE DIAPER BAG? Well there are not enough words for me to describe how gorg. well made and fabulous it is. ITS by BABY KAED. I was lucky enough to do a product review on it about 2 years ago on my other blog. It was so gently used that its like brand spanking new and I WAS THRILLED to pull it down and get it packed up.

WELL THERE YOU HAVE IT! if you ever wondered what to pack for your sweet babies diaper bag here you go. Now I do have prego brain so I may of forgotten something important, but for now I think I got it. Now to just pack my bag....... BUT NOTHING FITS! BLAH!
