Kaboo Purse Giveaway for TWO winners

I have mentioned before on my blog how MUCH I LOOOOOVE HANDBAGS. IT'S TRUE, where some girls are shoe girls... I AM HANDBAGS! (don't get me wrong I adore a cute pair of shoes too!) What makes handbags even better, is the quality and how organized they are. Kaboo-tech bags are THE IT bag to have, in terms of "QUALITY, CUTENESS, ORGANIZATION, AND perfect for our tech savvy busy world!"

I was lucky enough to be able to review the "RILEY PEARL- KABOO" bag. I love so much about it!!! One other thing I will say that is a huge perk in great bags is a great lining, one you can actually see inside, and not have it be a huge black hole. KABOO bags have cute colorful zig zag/chevron linings.

I took some photos of the RILEY PEARL- KABOO BAG.

PACKAGING IS EVERYTHING.. AND THE PACKAGED BAG COMES IN THE CUTEST BLACK BOX WITH CHEVRON LINING. The bag is also in a dust cover drawstring bag. SUPER FAB.

THERE ARE "7" pockets on the outside of the bag, I LOVE EACH ONE!

Left to right, small camera, lotion, business cards, pen, sd card holder.
The tech pocket is so amazing, for your notebook, kindle, nook, small laptop, etc. Its fully padded and sewn so that the bottom doesn't touch the bottom of the bag, so your tech item will never get damaged or banged around. Its fab. I am using just a notebook "paper" one for now, until I get my Mac Notebook  (fingers crossed)

DID I MENTION HOW MUCH I LOOOOOVE IT! I DO!
OK' so here is the super SUPER SUPER SSSSSSSSSUPPPPPPPPPPPPER

PRETTY PAPER CONE WREATH

Hello everyone, TODAY I am sharing with you my Pretty Paper Cone Wreath.
I have seen lots of darling book page wreaths, and other fun paper wreaths, but when I came across
(you got to check her's out!)
I new I had to make one with all the cute paper I have been collecting. Thanks Ribbon's and Glue for inspiring me.

 HOW TO:

Start with 20 double sided 12x12 pieces of paper (you don't have to used double sided but it does help big time.)
-cut your first set of cones to 6x6 inch squares, if you are using double sided it should be 10 pieces of paper total, because you are flipping the double sided paper and cutting another 6x6 square.
-cut your second set of paper to 4x6 pieces, I had enough from my cut 12x12 paper to cut again. Also it should be 10 sheets of paper, because again you are cutting out two pieces using both sides.
-Next I took a piece of 12x12 paper and used a salad plate to trace a circle, and then I placed a second dessert plate in the middle and traced another circle. I cut out the circle. Then I flipped it over and hot glued a small paper plate to the back.
-I then flipped the paper circle over and started rolling my larger cones and hot gluing them together and then hot gluing them down on top of the paper. I used the smaller traced circle as my guide to hot glue them down. Finish this process until done.
-Next I took a small paper plate and hot glued the underneath rim to set on top of the bottom of the cones. I then proceeded to the next row of cones. Rolling and hot gluing them down on top of the paper plate.
-When I was finished I hot glued down a piece of ribbon and also hot glued down another small paper plate over the ribbon for extra durability and to give it a clean finish.
YOU ARE NOW DONE!

what do you think?
It was time consuming but it was fun, and I truly love the outcome and the fun soft colors.

DIY Yarn Ball Topiary

Hello friends, MAN' i have been in another crafting rut. I hate when i get in those!!!
Finally something clicked and I thought of making a cute
 "YARN BALL TOPIARY"
this project cost me around $7.00 bucks, but i have plenty of yarn left over and an extra styrofoam ball and extra wood dowels. So i totally could make another one. This project is also super easy, and super cute.
Here is a basic tutorial, the pictures pretty much tell the how to.

I cute long pieces and started anywhere I wanted and I just used a dab of hot glue. I alternated turq. with the yellow ombre color, I did four layers two of each.

TIP: make sure you take your wood dowel and puncture the styrofoam ball, remove the dowel and mark the whole with a sharpie. The whole will be easier to find when you are done wrapping the yarn.

...and here she is all done. I have her sitting on a shelf in my craft space. I LOVE HER!
