A Nautical 1st Birthday Party

Hello and Welcome. In today’s post you will see lots of pictures from my baby Evin’s 1st Birthday.
I chose a “Nautical” theme as you will see.
I in total think I spent around $85-$90 dollars on this party, that is including the food, decor, and his one gift we got him. All the paper you see was from my FANTASTIC SPONSOR Canvas Corp. Thank Heavens for a Cricut too. They make parties, let me tell you. I used my Going Places Cricut Cartridge to cut out all the nautical stuff you see. The cute straws, nautical cupcake toppers, cupcake liners, the blue polka dot cupcake/candy cups, and the cute yellow and white polka dot bags are all from Hey Yo Yo my “FAVORITE” Party shop on Etsy.
I made lifesaver cookies, vanilla cupcakes, and lemon flavored cake balls. YUM! My hubby made homemade pizza, and the dough was from scratch.. SO GOOD. We had it with party bags filled with Doritos, and bottled water. The pizza was amazing. Thank you hublet.

OK OK’…… I WILL LET THE REST OF THE PICTURES DO ALL THE TALKING.  email me at jenglamgirl@gmail.com if you have any questions. I would love to hear from you. Thanks.

  1. Cutest party ever! I love everything Jenn! Super cute! And I love the pictures of Evin eating his cake wearing the tie…that cracked me up! 🙂
    You are so creative!

  2. Such a cute party. I love how everything turned out. My son’s birthday is this weekend too. If only he was still a sweet baby and not a brand new teenager, who didn’t want a party. Eek!!

  3. Ok, how sweet is he in that tie w/ a face full of cake!! Makes me want to eat him up! He is so cute!! What a fun birthday, full of great little goodies! I love all your decorations and food choices and snacks! Super Job MOM! Adorable!!

  4. Evin was a total cute cupcake! he cracked me up how he looked at his presents! Job well done, but one thing missing…….me! Would have been fun the pizza and cupcakes “lured me in!” Love,Lori

  5. I LOVE nautical parties and you did such a fabulous job with your little cutie’s party! And on a budget too… awesome job!! Those cake pics with him in his tie are precious 🙂

  6. I love it all! And how clever that you used your xmas plate and covered it with scrapbook paper…it matched perfectly. There is something about striped paper straws that make a party. I LOVE THEM. Evin is such an adorable little tank. Wish we could have been there. Great job.

  7. Oh my cuteness!!! I love kid birthday parties. I wish my kids were still young enough to not be so opinionated, though. They always want whatever character is popular, which is still fun. I’m always trying to talk them into stuff like tractor parties or fairy picnics. You did a great job on this one!!!! It turned out fabulous.

  8. I’m loving everything nautical this spring (especially anchors!) so this party is right up my alley. My favorite part? The cupcake stand filled with paper straws – too cute!

  9. Wow! I’ve seen a lot of nautical parties as we are planning one for my son but yours captures both the nautical spirit AND a fun kid-like feel – all of the colors are so cool. Great work! Glad to find your blog.
